I didn't want to spend my night in ER... But I had had an infection in my right index finger for over a week and had done two different antibiotics ... And it was getting worse Dr Pham came in and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was courteous and respectful, explained everything good, and did a great job! Thank you

We are extremely disappointed with care from Dr Trieu H Pham at Blodgett Hospital for my son tonight. My son suffers from EOE and has been attempting to get in to see a GI for a couple of weeks in order to get an endoscope to dilate his esophagus and get biopsies to check on the progression of the disease. My son has been having great difficulty swallowing food and sometimes even liquid over the last couple of weeks. Today, his primary doc sent him to Blodgett Hospital to the ER since she was unable to order an urgent endoscope today. She assured us they would do an endoscope at the ER which would be quicker than waiting for the ‘urgent’ one to be ordered. Dr. Pham did not order an endoscope. In fact, he merely gave my son a sierra mist as 'treatment' for his esophageal stricture, Since he was able to get that down, he sent him home. He told him to see his GI, and my son reiterated that he has been trying for a couple weeks to do so. In this time of the crisis with COVID,… and the fact that my sons immunity is compromised, it took a large amount of consideration to even go to the ER. The risk of COVID exposure compared to his inability to swallow was heavily weighed. Yet, Dr. Pham barely took the time to examine or listen to what my son explained to him. If he does not have knowledge of EOE, then he should have consulted with someone who would be able to assist.

DR. Pham misdiagnosed the severity of my pneumonia. He sent me home, telling me it was "just pneumonia" after my primary physician sent me to the emergency room due to my condition. Two days later, when I returned to the E.R., THREE LITERS of infected green fluid were drained from my left side; i needed a thoracotomy, and spent three weeks in the hospital.

I was sent to the Blodgett ER (Spectrum East) by my personal physician, to be admitted and perhaps to have fluid drained because of his pneumonia diagnosis. Even after a CT Scan, Dr. Pham sent me home, telling me it was "just pneumonia" and that I did not want the drainage procedure because I risked further infection from that. I was later admitted, and THREE LITERS of poisonous, pus-like fluid were drained. I was close to death, according to every doctor I saw there after.

I was referred to the emergency room by my internist. I was kept there all day under the care of this misanthropic person masquerading as a physician. A waste of time and health care dollars.
