TOXIC DOCTOR! Upon arrival at my appointment, I was told I have to pay $800 up front before I can see the doctor as an annual fee to be allowed to see the doctor. I was not advised of this before driving 1 hour to my appointment. I asked to discuss with the doctor and was told I was not allowed. So, I waited an hour and asked when I can speak to the doctor. Office said "no pay $800, no doctor"!!!! Of course, still had to pay on top of that for doctor visit.........Worst doctor experience ever!

I seriously wish I had read the reviews before coming here. If you want to be a patient here, you better have some BIG pockets and a lot of time on your hands. Expect fee after fee at this place, and LONG wait times. I’ve waited for more than an hour before to see Dr. Bickman. Be prepared to pay the $360 annual fee ($180 if you only plan to visit once a year) and a fee for every lab. Ask questions because they won’t tell you about the fees until you’re ready to check-out. Dr. Bickman is very friendly and I’m sure very talented, but you don’t get a lot of face time with her—everyone at this office always seems rushed and on edge. Can’t emphasize enough how bad all the fees are. I just walked out of my appointment out of pocket $45 for a culture fee that no one told me about. Cherry on top is that parking is a nightmare at this location.

She is a scam artist. Extremely unethical and extremely poor quality of care. Run away as fast as you can!

TLDR; rude, unprofessional, shady, and unless you can pay $360 out of pocket on TOP of copay, go elsewhere. I was extremely disappointed with how things were handled at Dr. Bickman’s office. When I arrived for my appointment (which was just go over test results), they let me know that in order to go in or even SPEAK to the doctor, I had to pay $360 out of pocket as part of the new “patient fees”. They did not inform me of this when I made the appointment or when I decided to be a patient. I told them that as a recent college grad, I couldn’t afford to pay the (in my opinion, absurdly high) fees, and they told me to take my care elsewhere. On top of this, Dr. Bickman was extremely rude to me. I felt very rushed and belittled by her. She disregarded my health concerns, and I left the office angry and upset. You are better off finding a doctor that isn’t going to charge insane fees for subpar care.

0/5 stars and I am taking the time to review her negatively on every platform I can today in hopes I help another mom avoid a terrible experience. Dr Bickman and her office staff are the worst I have EVER worked with in my entire life. This is my second pregnancy so I have enough experience to know the way she operates her office is super subpar and not normal. Shameful and sad to put this much stress on a 5 month pregnant person. Her office is a scam, they charge crazy out of pocket expenses for no reason since I can never actually get a hold of her, her office staff refuses to release my medical records to my new provider, they put me on 25+ minute holds on the phone, and I have NEVER received a response to any of my emails. Anytime I ask for my records the office staff ask me to email the doctor, but the doctor never responds to the emails!! Her office is dirty too and office staff are rude. I Will never recommend her and I will never step foot in her office again. I would rather… birth my baby myself thank you very much.

She is the worst doctor I have ever been to, as she does not care about her patients. Just her money. I would avoid this practice at all costs, considering your money will be taken away anyways as they overcharge for everything. Keep in mind, you'll find out about the $360 administration fee after your first appointment.

I've seen this doctor several times since my first appointment in Feb so this review comes after several interactions with the doctor and her staff. My main frustration has been the poor communication and overall lack of empathy. I'm in the process of going through my first really big health scare and after multiple visits with the doctor, it was discovered I would need to have surgery. During my visits, I've had ultrasounds, given cultures and was even told to get additional ultrasounds & an MRI from other doctors. After every test, I had to call the office to get the results. and I'm starting to doubt they would have ever called me if I didn't initiate the communication. More recently, the doctor told me to get a Pelvic MRI to get better imagining. I sent the results to her 3 weeks ago and I have yet to hear anything from her or her office about what was discovered. Meanwhile, I'm experiencing some of the worse symptoms of my life. Frustrated with the service, I decided to see… another doctor, and of course, I needed my medical records. It's been 3 weeks since my request and it still hasn't happened. I've talked to the office several times and was assured several times that my records were sent. After 2 weeks of this run-around, they finally confessed to having a broken fax/scanner. I understand that these things happen and I have been so patient, I have even rescheduled 2x with my new doctor as I wait for my medical records to be sent. But after today's call, I've reached my limit. They had a new scanner installed yesterday and told me my records would be sent right away - of course, this didn't happen. So I call today, and it's like they are receiving my request for the first time again. There is no record of my request, I had to give them the new fax number for the 5th time at least. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like it's my only recourse. I think the doctor is great but her office is clearly overwhelmed and I can't help but feel that if I weren't a black woman I would have been treated differently.

Do not go here. Dr. Tristan Bickman has no respect for her patients. I've seen her twice and both times had a bad experience. The first time she made me wait 1 hour for my appointment, and then saw me for 10 minutes and that was it. The second time I went to her office, I was informed that she was also running at least 1 hour behind, so I told them I couldn't stay and left--a woman, one of her patients, followed me outside and vented to me that she was so frustrated with Dr. Bickman also, because it was like that every time she went there. I went back the next day and finally had my appointment, after waiting for at least 30 minutes. This was two weeks ago. She did a culture and I STILL didn't get the results back. I called her office when it had been 1 week and they told me they'd get back to me and never did. It's completely absurd. I also requested an IUD and I still haven't heard anything about it. Overall a really bad experience. I will not be returning.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr Bickman. I started seeing her right out of college when I moved to LA and she has really become a part of my family. My husband started coming to my appointments when I got pregnant and he loves her as much as I do! She delivered our first baby last year and we could not have been more thrilled with the experience. She’s calming and so easy to talk to and really helped us through the entire process. She gives each patient her full attention and makes you feel like you are in the best hands (and you are!) I can’t recommend her more highly.

Tristan was unbelievable rude. This doctor laughed when I had questions. She never responded to follow up. I do not recommend this doctor even for the easiest of births
