Dr Trong B. Nguyen is probably the best, most qualified surgeon in orthopedics. Always impressed when I talk with him. Thorough, precise, and a truly compassionate medical professional.

I wish I could give him zero stars. Has no respect for physical therapy in put or results, just looks at xrays. not polite. Also he is demeaning if you are a little older.

Very rude doctor. Extremely unprofessional. It took over an hour of wait with an appointment just to see him. After surgery, it is customary for the physician to come down and speak to the family. This doctor simply called one of the family members from upstairs and give them short information rushing them of the phone and ignoring everyone who’s waiting to hear what happened with their mother’s surgery. God knows how the surgery will turn out in the future, but a horrible impersonal experience. He doesn’t care and again he’s the rudest doctor I have ever dealt with. Go somewhere else

I have never been more pleased with any medical procedure than my experience with Dr. Nguyen. He is very pleasant, knows how to talk to patients, lays it out in an organized way and follows through to to make sure the patient is doing well during recovery and achieves the mobility desired. He explained clearly what I needed to do to have the best result and what to expect. I followed his plan to a letter and achieved an extremely good result. He has an upbeat personality and is very pleasant to talk with. I have thanked him several times but he very humble and said my recovery therapy was the difference between a good result and a great result. His office and staff are a very good team to work with. Took my 6 year old son here to get his cast removed that dr Nguyen put on 4 weeks ago for a broken arm. While cutting his cast off with the saw they went through the saw and burnt/cut his wrist. Would never go back to dr Nguyen and would definitely not receoomend him to anyone!

Originally (a few yrs ago),I went to see an Orthopedic surgeon about my shoulder joints, (who's name I will keep confidential). I had a seizure years ago which caused both shoulders to pop out of their sockets. After that my left shoulder poped out a couple times. Once from coughing, & once from rolling over in bed. The Dr I saw then, gave me an MRI & told me he was going to scrape out a bunch of scar tissue, & place 3 pins in my left shoulder. He would operate on the right, then 6 weeks later. My right shoulder has had pain ever since the first dislocation. However, it's never dislocated again. So about 3 years later, (after many, many dislocations of my L Shoulder), I went to see Dr. Trong Nguyen. He gave me a proper examination, (how many deg my arm could move in different motions), & then had me try physical therapy. We both agreed that surgery would be a last resort. He told me to come back & see him if a dislocation occurred again. A year later I went back to see him, because… even after Physical therapy, my arm still kept slipping out of it's socket. Two weeks later I was back in his office, with a clear diagnosis. I told him I have a hard time remembering all the technical terms Dr's give me, so it's hard to explain what was said, when I try to tell my family & friends what's going on. He was amazing! He not only let me look at my MRI, while he was looking at it. He took the time to explain to me in a simple way, what was going on. He drew a diagram for me & really explained in detail what was going on. I'm a visual person, so that was fantastic. By now I had 5 major dislocations, & 5 or 6 subluxations. He was able to get me into surgery quickly. I'm going in this Friday, so I will post how it went & how I'm feeling after I can remove the sling. I don't need scar tissue scraped out, I don't need 3 pins put in my shoulder. All I need is 2 very small simple pieces, placed into my shoulder to replace the labrum which has been torn so many times, it is barley able to hold the "ball" on my rotater cuff in place. So far I would give Dr. Trong Nguyen an A+, as far as genuine care, concern, testing, & making me feel comfortable, as well as taking time with me. He answered all of my questions, & never made me feel rushed. He is very personable & the staff at the Center For Bone & Joint Care, is amazing! A great Dr, & great staff. I recommend calling them for an appointment if you are having any kind of joint issues.
