Dr. Troy Peter Fabregas, MD

Came here two years ago for what was supposed to be a normal physical, an annual well visit. I have very good insurance that this office takes which I made sure of- and was never sent a bill for a well visit at any other doctor office that I have gone to in the past. An annual well visit is supposed to be covered under my insurance. It’s two years later and I’ve been in a constant battle back and forth between this office who tested me for a large number of tests that weren’t covered under a normal well visit supposedly, the lab and my insurance company. It’s the offices fault and I should have been informed if I was being tested for anything outside the norm of a well visit. The office staff was not helpful and did not admit to any faults- they got paid so that’s all that matters. I’m now forced to pay a $200 bill- even with good health insurance-to a doctor office I went to once. I have a lot going on in my life and really could benefit from putting this money elsewhere especially… since I should not have had to pay this to begin with. Would most definitely not recommend and wish I never went here to begin with.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fabregas from the time he began his practice in Massapequa. In the beginning of my relationship with him as my primary physician, he was young and inexperienced being in his own practice of medicine. He was a fast learner. As the years have past, I would become fully trusting in his skills and knowledge as my family doctor. He is, in my experience of 69 plus years, someone who is trustworthy, sincere in what he does, honest, friendly and a Top Notch Family Doctor. He will never let you down.

I just saw negative comments and had to post my experience with Dr Fabregas. Anytime I have had to see him he has been nothing but thorough and professional. He has a great calming manner about him and stops at nothing to get to the root of a problem you may be having. He leaves no stone unturned he will make sure he checks every possible cause of what may be making you feel unwell. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a really good primary care physician. He follows up on every test you get and many things can be done in the office so you don’t have to schlep all over the place to get tests done. I think he’s the best.

If you require any forms filled out for any reason, they will NEVER do it and are quite nasty about it. I wonder if Dr. Fabregas ever reads these posts as nothing has been done to correct this.

Dr. Fabregas is knowledgeable, helpful and gives each patient his undivided attention for as long as they need. He is kind and does not alarm with his diagnosis but instead walks the patient through the process calmly and clearly.

Dr. Fabregas is a kind, knowledgeable, patient and dedicated physician. The patient is made to feel like the only patient, because Dr. Fabregas listens, and gives his undivided attention. He will work to get to the bottom of any ailment and will explain his findings without being an alarmist. He takes the patient through the process one step at a time and is NEVER condescending.

Highly skilled and professional at all times

He's very kind and very thorough. He will listen to and address all of your concerns even when some of them sound kooky like mine! I highly recommend! (I only gave the 4 stars on promptness, but that's because he spends time with patients - so sometimes you have to wait a little bit)

His office should be closed by the heal dept. Somebody is going to get sick using the batbroom
