Being a little anxious about surgery at my age of 74, my first visit with Dr Trudie Goers eased all my concerns. She explained in great detail my procedure, called a fundoplication. I felt going in that I was in good hands. After surgery, my recovery went smoothly will no severe pain or discomfort. Dr. Goers saw me on a some-what emergency basis while I was hospitalized with other issues. What a true blessing! Professional, yet friendly, I felt at ease immediately and knew I would finally get this hernia taken care of once and for all. I had seen another surgeon and what I heard truly scared me away.
