Dr. Trung M Le, MD

Dr. Le was the on-call pediatrician when I gave birth at Riverton Hospital. He had great bedside manner and did a thorough exam. Our baby had some jaundice and Dr. Le really went out of his way to help us. He allayed our fears about taking our baby home and using a bili-bed and helped us set up a plan for the next few days. But here's where he went above and beyond: We were supposed to follow up with KidsCare the next day, but the receptionist turned us away! My husband called Dr. Le and he arranged for us to follow up in L&D, and said he would talk to the KidsCare receptionist so it didn't happen again. We were not his patients at that point so he had no obligation to help, but we had nowhere else to turn. We were/are really thankful to Dr. Le.

Dr. Le was unnecessarily obsessive over the well being of my new born in 2009. We were assigned him at Jordan Valley because I had not yet picked a pediatrician and he forced us to stay 2 days longer than necessary, he continually checked my daughter for jaundice even after the first test came back negative, he insisted everyone where face masks and gowns even thought she was not ill or in any danger, and he wouldn't not let me nurse when she first arrived because he was concerned for her safety. I am in no way shape or form a danger to my daughter and this man was crazy. He even insisted on us making the 2 week check up before we left the hospital and the day of the check up called the clinic we were at trying to force them to keep us there for no apparent reason. Both the pediatrician that day and my OB the day of delivery did not understand why he was so unnecessarily obsessive over the well being of my daughter. This was a terrible doctor and made my hospital experience a… nightmare.
