Dr Berhe where should i start. We have been going to him since my daughter was diagnosed with thyroid disease almost twenty years ago.He not only helped her he helped me.After taking her so many years he noticed I wasn’t looking right. He asked me to do some bloodwork and found out I had it as well. For 10 years nobody detected nothing from my doctors. Doctor Berhe saved my life! I have heard so many stories in the waiting rooms at his practices of how he saved their lives from cancer it isn’t funny. He just knows from the blood tests and the right ones. He charts everything contacts insurance companies and sometimes works around to get approval.what he is not… he is not a office manager.He is not in charge of your insurance company,he is not the repair department from machines you may have broke. The follow up from office staff efforts can effect his office.Remember health first if you can’t live another day from sickness does the rest matter?if you are looking for an office manager… this isn’t for you.if you want the best doctor then make no mistake you came to the right place. His life is about making people feel better and this man hasn’t taken a vacation for almost twenty years! Brilliant in his field and he has won eight people’s choice awards from the hospital and humble not to put them on his wall in the office.Never about him ,but about you!

Stay away from this place and doctor. The doctor and staff are totally unscrupulous. I had an appointment with a doctor (I can't call him a doctor). The office is very messed up and packed with a lot of boxes..., and the doctor doesn't seem to know how to use a computer and other technology.... So, in the first visit he talked to me on general topics, and then sent me for tests and thyroid ultrasound. Then we were supposed to schedule another appointment upon receiving results, which never happened because I tried to confirm my appointment, but no one was picking up the phone. And then when I got the bill via my insurance company online portal, he dared to bill me even though I had never spoken to him and never saw him after the first visit. When I called and tried to dispute the bill and demanded proof that he had seen me, he said I had a bad memory and probably didn't remember that he had seen me in person LOL. He basically was trying to screw me over for a visit I did not have. I… then demanded proof of my call or visit, but he could not provide it. He said: "Ok, I won't charge you, let's just drop the case" but I don't end it, I filed a complaint with the insurance company and I am writing this review to warn all those who still want to go to this dishonest doctor.

He knows a lot about almost everything. He is not afraid to cover all of your needs. Highly recommend!

I’ve seen him for various years always uplifting and attentive

He forgot to refill insulin. Her pump broke and she ended up in the hospital. Then did not send the insurance information for almost 3 weeks so she did not get her replacement pump. Then refused to order the correct insulin for the new pump. Requested a release of records form by phone 3 times ( called more but only answered 3 times). Faxed a request 5 times. once was told stop calling he was with patients and stop calling. She is out of lantis and need a refill. Called again and was told the office was closed. Took 2 month for the school to get order. Can't change Doctors fast enough.

My daughter started treating with Dr. Berhe after seeing other Endocrinologists who could not control her Type 1 Diabetes (diagnosed at 18 mos. and started seeing Dr. Berhe at the age of 7 - she is now 19). He fought to get her on an insulin pump and then a CGM. Without these devices and his amazing expertise, my daughter would not be the healthy, thriving 19 year old she is today. After recently moving, we now travel nearly 100 miles to still have him as her Endocrinologist. He is that good!

I been with Dr. Berhe for 10 years with my two boys,they are diabetic. And this doctor is the best of the best, for 10 years give us an excellent care. Excellent with kids, he is a funny and friendly doctor. I highly recommend him.

I used to take my child to his Elk Grove office. They were PROFESSIONAL!!! His Roselle staff is ILL-MANNERED, and DISRESPECTFUL! I don't why Dr. Berhe left his previous office, but they were all amazing! Nobody in his new office seems to know what is going on. They all blame each other, complete lack of teamwork! Nurse Raquel is the office manager and she is extremely rude! She's always in a hurry and doesn't seem to care about my daughter's well being. His front office staff is a joke! They lost my insurance card and did not even apologize for it!!!! The lady kept insisting she gave it back to me, so why did I get a phone call from her the following morning asking when I could pick it up? That was the first and last time I took my daughter there. I found out there are two Endocrinologists at the Elk Grove location, DR. PRIYA KHANNA and DR. ANGELA GANAN-SOTO. My daughter has seen both and they are PHENOMENAL!!!! The complete opposite of Dr. Berhe. They are very knowledgeable, patient,… nurturing and professional. If you want to be mistreated then go to see Dr. Berhe, but if you want a real physician who actually calls with the test results, then go to the Elk Grove location. Dr. Berhe is a great dr he was great with my son.. The office staff is the worst! We moved to a different state and I have asked them to send over my sons records and is been 6 months they can never find his records when I call.

DR.BREHE SAVED MY SON LIFE, HE HAD A VARY RARE DIABETES, THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, THIS WAS IN 2008-2012
