Due to her outstanding bed side manner and thorough explanation of the surgery, this allowed my father to have a better understanding of the surgery. We are truly grateful that she was the on call surgeon who performed the surgery on my father!

Dr. Cook is a caring and patient doctor. Recently, she had to perform an emergency bowel obstruction surgery on my father. Because of her great bed side manner and thorough explanation of the possible outcomes of the surgery, this allowed my father to have a better understanding of the surgery. We were truly bless to have her as the on call surgeon for my father that day. I can’t say enough of Dr. Cook except to thank her for what she did for my father.

Dr. Cook is a great doctor and it’s sad that I have to continue to search for her because I refuse to go see Dr. Greene! It’s no shade on him because I have never seen him for a appointment, It’s just that when I find a good doctor I like to stay with that one doctor.

Dr. Cook was great and my overall experience with her was just fabulous. She and her staff worked with me and my very busy schedule to be able to make all my appointments. I had the sleeve surgery and the results have been remarkable and a lot has to do with the preparation that was done prior to the surgery.

I had a band removal and sleeve revision with Dr. Tuesday Cook. I was a bit apprehensive about the procedure because of my age. Dr. Cook assured me that my age would not be a factor. She took the time to meet with me and my husband and explain the benefits of the surgery and how they outweighed the risks. She gave us easy to understand answers to all our concerns, providing us with the reassurance we needed to proceed with the surgery. She is thoroughly professional and very confident in her ability. She continued to be very informative throughout the entire process. She never gives an instruction without explaining why she is giving it, why it is needed and why it is necessary to the process and to your health. She wants you to be sure you understand the journey you are about to embark upon, and she is very clear about the work you must put in to get there. She will not compromise on what she knows to be sound medical advice. If you want to cut corners, she is NOT your girl. … I would recommend Dr. Cook to my best friend or my beloved family members. Finally, I could not write this review without a shout out to Nina, Dr. Cook's medical assistant, for her professionalism, support, and pleasant disposition. Also, Vita and Wendy for their administrative assistance. My surgery went without a hitch, no pain or discomfort. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

I meet Dr Cook in Shady Grove Hospital ER on New Year Day. My lap band was too tight and I was vomiting every 20-30 mins. She came in on the holiday, listened to my story and how I ended up in the ER. She discussed the necessary steps to relieve my issue and gave me sound advice. I was very impressed. Prior to my ER experience she was not my doctor, but now she will be. I really appreciated her no nonsense approach with me. I follow up with her in 10 days. Thank you Dr. Cook!

I have had a 5 year relationship with Dr. Cook and if you want a honest and professional surgeon, she is it. She will support you in whatever manner she can but you have to do your part. I personally interviewed several surgeons before selecting Dr. Cook and this has been the best decision ever!

I have lost 120 pounds with the help of Dr. Cook and her staff. If you are looking for the "easy way" to lose weight, this surgery is not for you anyway. Each patient will go through a number of steps and appointments to ensure that you are ready for this mental, physical, and emotional change that comes with weight loss surgery. You will have a number of seminars, nutritionist appointments, a psychological assessment, and days and months of self-reflection. All of these pre-op steps are getting you ready. Even having your binder at every single appointment serves this purpose. Dr. Cook is not here to hold your hand. (Although she is comforting, and I love her dry wit.) She is there to ensure your success. Embrace the steps and you will succeed! I always felt I was in good competent hands whether it was in surgery or each monthly appointment. This is is a hard process but the outcome is amazing! I can walk all day and not get tired. I can wear the fashionable clothes I've always… wanted. I can ride on roller coasters! I will not die from diseases related to obesity in the next 10 years leaving my kids without a mother. I have a good chance of living long enough to see my grandchildren. I do not think I would have been as successful if it had not been for Dr. Cook and her office team.
