Dr. Tuk Ching Lau

Dr Tuk C. Lau is a board-eligible specialist in Prosthodontics.  Dr Lau made his distinction in dentistry with his advanced training, intensive continuing education, and a strong personal drive to make everyone feel comfortable in his office.  Whether your need is simple or complex, you can be assured that you will receive the highest level of care possible for your cosmetic and reconstructive treatments.
Dr Lau’s education began at UC Riverside where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Biochemistry.  For his dental education, he chose to attend USC School of Dentistry, one of the top dental schools in the nation.  He excelled in all clinical and laboratory courses earning him distinction and membership into the Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
After graduating from USC with Honors, he moved to Augusta, Georgia to attend the Prosthodontic Residency Program at the Medical College of Georgia under the mentorship of Dr F. Michael Gardner.  Dr …Gardner, a retired Colonel, was the director of Prosthodontics in the US Army and former commander of the US Army Dental Corp.  After retiring, Dr Gardner was finally available to train civilian dentists to be superb prosthodontists.
On a personal note, Dr Lau’s gentle, down to earth style will make you relax and not be fearful.  Dentistry can be very complicated especially when it comes to Prosthodontics.  Dr Lau will patiently listen to your concerns and address any issues you may have.
Dr Lau has lived in Los Angeles since 1975.  He lives with his lovely wife and their three beautiful children and enjoys golfing, skiing, and swimming.  He is also a dental officer in the US Army Reserves since October of 2001 and proudly serves his country.
