Dr. Tulio Roberto Ortega, MD

I guess some people just don’t appreciate a Dr who tells you how it is...infact I find him very much down to earth and makes me laugh even when iI walk in close to tears. It takes like minded people to understand that he’s not smug or uncaring in the least.

Doctor ORTEGA is a very nice and caring man. He cares about his patients and take's time to get to the exact nature of the problem and works towards the solution. I highly recommend him

I will go one step further than the last reviewer and say that Ortega's personality is dismal, along with his lack of professionalism. Smug, sarcastic, morally bankrupt, and detached. Do your research; see how he is, indeed, a shill for the pharmaceutical industry. Read how he was sanctioned, and read the reasons why. Above all, I strongly advise that you forget about seeing this goon and find a good, ethical doctor who actually cares. Be well.

I have seen Dr. Ortega 2 times in the last 2 months. The first time, he saw me very quickly with short notice, knowing I urgently needed to see him. Both times, he listened to my problems, recommended medicines that have worked very well since beginning the treatment, and answered all questions i had. I felt very comfortable in his office, and in his prescence. Very professional, and very bright. I highly recommend him!

I have been with this doctor for over 10 years. My experience is positive. He has helped me and is always prompt in calling me back whenever I need him. He is friendly and personable and I always feel he cares about me as a person. He's open to my suggestions and listens intently. The only problem I have is his spanish accent. If he speaks too fast, I have to have him repeat, but he's very patient and understands when I ask him to speak slowly. I would recommend him and have recommended him to people in my life. My life has improved tremendously and I trust his judgment with medications.

He is abusive and smug. He's been sanctioned by NYS multiple times. He has been on drug company payroll and promoted those drugs, which he insisted his patients take. If you are looking for a doctor you can trust and is interested in treating his patients- well this isn't the one for you.
