Dr. Kuruvanka is wonderful, calm and kind. His front office staff on the whole is awful. My wife was treated rude over and over. Appointments were made for follow-ups only to have her show up and they have no record of having made them (even with a card in her hand showing it). A 30 day halter monitor was given to her by the staff and never told it would be out of network (even though doc is in network) until it shows up from insurance as out of network. Many more examples of issues with the front office. So it is mixed. She left after 3 years of seeing him, not because of the doc but because of continued problems with the front office. Sad.

Dr Kuruvanka has saved my husband’s life more than once. I cannot thank him enough!!!!!!!!!!

I credited Dr Kuruvanka for saving me 10 years ago. I am now looking for a new cardiologist because of his “girls” A cardiologist visit is not a competition, or at least it shouldn't be. My sister was also a patient of his and she recently died. I was trying to let the office know and had asked for a call from Liz. Two weeks later, called again, I was treated like a piece of garbage and talked to like I had no right to be making the call. To me that information was private and should not have to blurt it out to just anyone, at the time I was still very sensitive to losing her. I never recieved that call back. Now 4 months go by and I end up in the hospital with pneumonia. I call the office again because I am suffering from anxiety and needed an appointment for a cardio visit. I was treated horrible, they talked to me like I was a stalker. And the Dr NEVER called back. I have better interest at heart than to stalk a Dr. MY HEART DR. That you are… supposed to trust with your life. Not a date, a DR... This is not my first run around with this office. But it will be my last. To all new patients. BE AWARE..

The doctors bedside manners are terrible he was rude to my wife when I was was in the hospital after his Bypass surgery when she was asking Dr. Kuruvanka a question . His office staff are rude and not very efficient ! I will never go to him again .

Absolutely horrible staff! One of them set my appointment up and tells me to make sure to bring all the records of the test that I have done. The day before my appointment the office manager calls and says they don't take patience paying cash. As I indicate to her that my insurance starts in 2 weeks and I need to see the doctor so he can look at my heart and determine what test need to be done , she does not care. They leave me on hold. They refused to allow me to talk to the representative who set up my appointment. They get more rude by the minute.they stop talking to make it sound like a line has disconnected hoping I will hang up the phone. One of the office staff tells me I should dial 911 and go to the ER in a very rude tone.The automated system continues to call me and remind me of my appointment while this is going on. Finally and most notably, the office member tells me that since I was not a patient there was no liability when I indicated I would report this type of… behavior. The chest pains I was having were much worse after this call. My God, they would let you die rather than see you without insurance

Very pleased with his professionalism. Very compassionate.

Dr. Kuruvanka is top notch. Cares about his patients, stays on top of everything.
