Dr. Tummala Rajagopala Prasad, MD

I have never encountered anyone in the medical profession with his lack of care. I was hospitalized for a very serious infectious disease and he was called in by the admitting physician. Dr. Prasad ordered a 60 regimen of antiobiotics to be administered at home with the help of a home health care agency. He also ordered lab work to be done weekly to monitor my progress. One major problem: he does not have regular office hours and does not have an automatic fax machine to receive incoming faxes. Someone has to physically be in the office to accept the fax. In this age of technology I find this not only to be hard to fathom, but totally unacceptable for a medical professional in the specialty of infectious disease care not to be able to receive vitally important information regarding his patients. I found him very hard to deal with. He constantly interrupts when you are speaking and one of his staff members was extrememly rude to me on the phone. I would NEVER recommend this man… to anyone, ever.

Dr.Tummala R. Prasad, M.D. is an outstanding physican & professional! He spends time with his patients, explains things so you understand completely. He exudes patience & kindness effortlessly. He is truly an angel.
