Dr. Tunde Tolani Tijani, MD

Dr Tijani is an excellent doctor. He knew exactly what to do for me before and after dialysis, the type of medicines to give me and he is extremely knowledgeable in his field I highly recommend Dr Tijani to those who have kidney problems, especially those who have Polycystic Kidney Disease. Dr. Tijani is a really fantastic physician. When I first found out I had Kidney Disease, I thought my life was at its end. Not so anymore. Dr. Tijani is very well versed on the newest treatments and latest developments in kidney research. He explains things well and he works very hard with you to control this disease and slow its progression. He has an excellent temperament and bedside manner which is paramount because a chronic degenerative disease of this nature is scary! I saw another nephrologist once before I came to Tijani. While she didn't make me feel worse, she didn't exactly make me feel better either and was rather distant and dismissive. Tijani gets to know you, advises you on your diet, and actively encourages you to call him and discuss any new medications you may be prescribed as some of them are toxic to kidneys. He really cares because nine out of ten other doctors would never ask you to call the office everytime you had question about a prescription or OTC drug before… taking it. They wouldn't care. He takes the time, whether it be by appointment or over the phone via a nurse. He's truly one of the best doctors I have; he's a natural caregiver. I can't imagine who I'd trust with my kidneys if not for him.

I have one kidney and he is the only Dr. I would trust to protect it. He is a caring Dr.
