Dr. Tunicia Ann Giron, MD

I went to the O R aside my daughter to confirm Dr Giron was aware of her allergies and health history. One of her allergies is a common anesthetic. She stated she does not believe she is allergic since she had it several times in past. I replied first day of med school you learn challenge dose. You can react anytime. There are many alternatives she can use. After this long discussion to which she was extremely unknowledgeable or presented herself in this manner I stated I will report her and will take my daughter out if another Dr doesn't replace her. Awful awful awful Dr is an understatement.

Couple days after I arrived at Tanner Hospital on 1-12-2018, this Dr showed up in my room related to a procedure to look at the back of my artificial aorta. She has the bedside manner of a Marine drill sgt. I apparently asked her a question about the procedure that struck a nerve. She lit into me and I told her to get out of my room! Somehow she lingered to perform the service without my knowledge until afterward. It apparently was successful as I'm still here. These drs. seem to have little oversight and are extremely insulated from patients. This is my way of alerting anyone else to avoid her rather high and mighty attitude towards patients who are sick and confused as I was that night.
