Dr. Tuoc Ngoc Dao, MD

Dr. Dao is truly amazing! She was my mom's surgeon for her lumpectomies and we couldn't be more grateful to have a physician like her by our side. Everything from her bedside manner and her empathy to her knowledge and professionalism get five stars from our family. Going through a cancer diagnosis is scary, and having a surgeon who is not only thorough, but also understands how to communicate is a major advantage.

Cancer is a scary disease but Dr. Dao gives you confidence and hope. She did 3 lumpectomies on me. She is meticulous and skillful and if you have to have breast cancer, she is the surgeon par excellence.

Dr. Dao and her entire staff makes you feel comfortable from the beginning. She is personable, smart, warm, funny. He staff goes step by step with you, giving you detailed information about all of your appointments, dates and times. Who to see, where to go next. It can be overwhelming, and they care about your well being. She placed me int the hands of some really great doctors.

She was great with my aunt who is her patient. My problem is not really with Dr Dao but with the entire Texas Oncology system. There is a culture of making patients wait - not 30 or 40 minutes but really hours! They have exhausted the support systems of their patients. the total disregard for their patients time is unacceptable and it is at every turn - 1 hour 40 minute wait to start at the infusion center today -

She is accurate in diagnosing the problem. She's caring, concerned, and moves the entire process for you quickly. She won't leave you until you absolutely understand everything.
