Tushar Shah, MD

Dr. Tushar Shah is an internal medicine physician who has been caring for patients for over three decades. He earned his medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College and completed his residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in 2003. Dr. Shah also pursued fellowship training at the University at Buffalo SUNY Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, along with an internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2001. He is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Marathi.

Dr. Shah practices at UH Southwest Internal Medicine in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. His expertise includes managing chronic kidney disease and various forms of hypertension, including hypertensive emergencies. He incorporates physical therapy and strength training into patient care plans when appropriate. Dr. Shah also works with occupational therapy services to help patients maintain their daily activities and independence.
