He straight up cancelled the appointment 20 seconds into the video call. Didn't say anything, just hung up and cancelled. Reason? "does not prescribe Add*rall". I never asked for it, we didn't even talk. I DONT WANT MEDS. I had just wrote on the form that i wanted treatment for ADHD.

He has no emotions and also misdiagnoses you. I would tell him I had severe depression and he kept putting “mild depression” even after saying I am suicidal and had a plan. My depression was so “mild” that I ended up in a psych ward. After the psych ward I HAD to go back to him for an adjustment on my medications and he did not care and I still have refills on medications that led me to be in the psych ward. My new psychiatrist finally CORRECTLY diagnosed me with bipolar disorder. I have been feeling 100% better and my depression symptoms are finally under control. If you do not know, antidepressants causes you to be more manic if you are bipolar. Imagine that, I was constantly given a bunch of different antidepressants that led me to go manic and end up in a psych ward. These reviews are horrible and are probably from people who have mild symptoms of different things. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TUVIA BREUR TO ANYONE.

One appointment was enough. First, he was late to the appointment. My time is also valuable. Then, he continued to interrupt me and talk over me. I felt akin to herded cattle. He seemed to hurriedly chatter. The appointment was less than 30 minutes, and clearly not worth the $200 my insurance shelled out for it. He was a bit condescending, as well. He questioned the validity of a mental illness diagnosis I have, and received as a teen - as if I don’t understand the criteria for my illness. I’ve only lived with it for 20+ years. It was just disappointing and a waste of time.

Worst doctor ever! Please do not waste your time.

Dr. bruer is constantly short and not very friendly at all. He is pretty terrible to work with. He is always behind on appointments and makes you wait while he casually eats his lunch. He changed insurance last minute without notifying us, then wouldn’t even cover the necessary medication my husband is prescribed so now I’m scrambling to find a last minute new doctor and get an appointment ASAP so my husband has his medication.

Great doctor really knows his stuff

I had a child with a complicated presentation. Dr. Breuer was patient and assessed him thoroughly and accurately, For the first time, my family is functioning well

...as long as you don't have any legitimate problems. he seems to prefer cases that require only 5 minutes every 3 months, otherwise he will give you the boot. so if you need actual support then you should look elsewhere. i do NOT recommend.

hi to everyone who may be reading this. I would like to say that DR. tuvia breuer is a great psychiatrist he knows his stuff very well. I moved to new York and started to use him as my.psychiatrist I felt like he cared more about his patients and really wants to help people live a better life. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who would ask me.
