I was a patient there for a very short time. The staff was rude and made visits uncomfortable. I felt like I wasn't being heard and that my concerns were ignored. I hated walking in there to the point I would have tears before I even stepped off the elevator. I just stopped going to appointments.

Dr Twyla Norsworthy has never left my thoughts since my first born child in 2005. Her staff was very unpleasant but not because of her! Newport hospital had very unprofessional nurses and yet some were truly kind and understanding. This doctor never gave up on me or my premature 3 lb 12 oz baby. If she didn't know the answer she researched all possible specialists and sources. Anytime she prescribed a medication she looked it up in her drug book to make sure there weren't any complications with my high risk pregnancy. She went above and beyond! As a nursing student and now a mother of four I can truly say she is one of the best OB GYNs that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Caring and developing trust with your patient is of utmost importance and this doctor demonstrated it the whole 7 months!
