Dr. Tyia S. Clark

I was born and raised in rural Texas, and now call North Carolina home. I became fascinated by the developing brain during my undergraduate studies in Brain and Cognitive Sciences and was further drawn to pediatrics due to a love for working with children. I take a holistic and evidence-based approach to caring for children. I am a vocal advocate for preventive care, as well as healthy lifestyles, ensuring that my patients have the best possible start in life. I believe it is an honor to share in each child’s journey. I nurture families as they grow, offering support, guidance, and a listening ear to both children and parents. I have a special interest in empowering families to create healthy habits, assisting families in welcoming their newborns, as well as supporting adolescents as they navigate their path to adulthood. When not practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, outside exploring nature, traveling the globe or experimenting in the kitchen.
