I needed a Specialist that could help me with my pain (lower back, hips, thighs, calves and feet) due to bulging discs and arthritis in my lumbar spine. I researched the site for Regional Brain and Spine in Cape Girardeau Missouri . I clicked self referral on the drop down selection under "patients" submitted a request and was called by them within moments! After explaining my situation I was given a new patient appointment with Dr. Ptacek in six days! The appointment was amazing! He demonstrated and explained everything. It was clear that he understood exactly what I was going through. The office flow was fast and very efficient! Dr. Ptacek and his nurse, Jennifer were excellent! He recommended an epidural procedure. That was done 3 days later!!! They were all very professional, knowledgeable and so very nice! I definitely recommend Dr. Ptacek to everyone that needs his expertise!!

I give Dr. Ptacek 5 Stars. He is very efficient and assertive. Dr Ptacek goes above and beyond to help me find the best medication to help me. He is the best doctor I have been to, he really listens to me and cares about my pain. I would recommend Dr. Ptacek to anyone. He makes my visit worthwhile and makes me feel like my life is not hopeless. Pain doctor should take advice from this doctor because he really cares about the patient. I received a spinal steriod shot on August 9th. Dr Ptacek was skilled and took time to answer questions. I had been trying to get some help with my back pain for 3 months and was still a month away from my appt, with St. Francis Pain Clinic. A patient of Dr. Ptacek recoomended I call Regional Brain and Spinal. I was approved and had an appt. in 3 days. Thank You.
