Dr. Tyler L Saunders, DDS

Dr. Tyler Saunders was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. He has 5 older brothers and 1 sister. All of which graduated from ASU. Dr. Saunders graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Biological Sciences. He then attended the highly esteemed Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry in Portland. He graduated #6 in his class with highest academic and clinical honors. After dental school his family moved to Gilbert, AZ and has been in private practice here in the valley ever since.

Dr. Saunders has been fortunate to work in several different types of private practices which has allowed him to excel at a variety of specialty skills. He loves working with anxious patients because his calming demeanor allows them to feel safe and comfortable. He also takes great pride in giving painless injections. He has had special training in CEREC technology which allows him to design and cement beautiful porcelain crowns the same day using a specialized …computer process. He is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and takes as many continuing education classes as he can to learn new skills.

Dr. Saunders and his wife Lisa have been married for almost 8 years now and were high school sweethearts. They have three amazing kids, Weston (5), Ashlyn (3) and Emma (1). Dr. Saunders loves being with his family and playing with his kids. He also enjoys playing tennis, volleyball, golf, basketball, softball/baseball and pretty much any other sport. His family is very active in their church and are always looking for opportunities to serve in their community. One of Dr. Saunders’s favorite trips was a dental service mission to Guatemala where he provided free dentistry and education to the people in several small villages.
