Dr. Tyson J. Carter, DPM

Tyson J. Carter, DPM, MBA, FACFAS, FACPM, is a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon at Intermountain Health’s Layton Parkway Clinic – Podiatry in Layton, Utah. He supports patients in Layton, Kaysville, Syracuse, and surrounding communities, specializing in foot and ankle surgery, sports-related injuries, and operative fracture management. He is fellowship-trained in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery, bringing a precise, evidence-based approach to restoring function, stability, and mobility.

His clinical interests include sports-related foot and ankle injuries, minimally invasive and reconstructive foot surgery, and return-to-sport and performance-focused care for active and athletic adults. He particularly enjoys treating foot and ankle fractures, as no two injuries are the same—each one presents unique anatomical and biomechanical challenges that require a thoughtful, individualized approach.
