Dr. Tzer Hwa T Z Chen, MD

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Chen. He is the best doctor that I know. He has kept me almost pain free for 25 years and he changed my quality of life from 0 to 100. Dr. Chen recently retired and I am frantically searching for another pain management doctor. He will be hard to replace. Thank you for being my doctor. Zero competence, zero compassion. His office covered for him when he received all my medical records, said he never did receive them, then blamed the Dr. that sent the records claiming he never did, but he did send them TWICE then his office covered for him again brushing it all over. Office also said he'd call me back I waited a week, no call, I had to call him, said they'd call back AGAIN, NEVER bothered to call back second time. My other Dr. sent more info. Dr. just said sorry I can't help you, I don't do shoulders or knee pain, apparently he also doesn't do Fibromyalgia, arthritis, oseteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, scoliosis, trigger finger, twisted rib cage, IBS, acid reflux, neuropathy, vertigo, injuries, I don't know what this doctor treats but he does not treat chronic pain sufferers and has zero compassion. He should not be anywhere near chronic pain sufferers with this behavior and attitude.

I have been seeing Dr. Chen for 18 months now, and what a difference he has made in my life. I am much more active physically, and feel so much better emotionally now that I'm not in pain anymore. He is a wonderful soul who really cares about his patients. He is a great listener, and works with you to find the best way to go about ending your pain. He gave me my life back! His staff is also wonderful. They make you feel like you're one of the family from the time you walk in the door. They are always on time, and you are in and out before you know it. Dr. Chen and his staff are the best when it comes to managing my pain, and I appreciate everything they have done for me.

I have been treated by Dr. Chen for many years. He has brought my disabling pain under control. Prior to being treated by Dr. Chen, I was frequently seen in the emergency room for acute pain treatment. I now very rarely have a need for treatment in the hospital setting. Dr. Chen's expertise in the pain management field is unmatched in my experience with pain doctors. My life has changed permanently for the better thanks to Dr. Chen.,

I've been going to Dr Chen for 17 yrs. Him and his staff are amazing. Have been to a dr where they are always happy. And he prays with you and I would always ask God to watch over him and his fsmily. But unfortunately dr Chen dropped me after 17 yrs because I fell cleaning my glass door and there's 2 steps that you have to walk down. Well I stepped down and missed the bottom step lost my balance and fell back on the concrete. I hurt my tail bone and for about 16 days I hurt so bad. Well instead of calling the office I just took 2 extra pills in the afternoon. He hsd, had me taking 10 and 12 of what I was taking so I didn't think it was that big a deal. And I was going to tell him about it. I've never lied to him I've always told him everything. But I guess what I did was wrong and he dropped me. Ya know everyone says things they don't mean when their scared, really scared and hurt because you though this dr. Truly cared about you. I guess I just think everyone is in tired to a… mistakr. But nope out the door I wrnt. I don't think I've ever been her like that, (EVER)but it's over and I have been suffering ever since with pain being weened of the medicine. But even with all that said. I still think he's the best pain management dr in St.Louie and the staff were like family to me. I miss them very much.well the holidays are coming up and wish them nothing but joy and happiness. Dr. Chen found the source of my very painful Ribs. The diagnosis spot on and I finally have some relief.

This is a man who is truly commited to his work. 15yrs. I have looked for someone to help me with my back and fibromyalgia.I was ready to give up until I was refered to Dr. Chen God Bless him!!!

Dr. Chen and his staff are fantastic. I highly recommend him. If you are in pain this is the man to see.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chen's for awhile. I can honestly say that he saved my life. His caring manner and sense of humor has a very calming effect. He is also very easy to understand (no accent) that some foreign doctors have.

Dr. Chen has the best manner of any doctor I have ever visited. I wish I could go to him for everything.
