I met this doctor at MMCH in Brooklyn prior to my surgery. During the consent process, the anesthesiologist’s tone and manner were unnecessarily condescending and dismissive. Rather than providing reassurance or clear explanations, their comments came across as rude and made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected at a time when I was already anxious about the procedure. I understand that medical professionals work under pressure, but patients deserve to be treated with kindness, patience, and respect—especially when discussing something as serious as anesthesia and informed consent. I would appreciate it if this concern could be reviewed and addressed to help ensure that future patients are treated with the professionalism and compassion expected in your facility.
