Dr. Tzu Hsun Sally Chen-Hynes, MD

Diagnoses - alopecia (that I was aware of before we saw this doctor because of my own personal research on the internet.) I asked her about treatment options and developing coping skills so he could go through high school without any troubles and embarrassments. This doctor laughed. She couldn't say anything that made sense. I got very frustrated. She just said you can't do anything - just wear a hat. It grows back or not. How could you say that to a child???!!!! I asked what about his emotional well being? She didn't answer. Smiled. She just doesn't get that every human on this earth has a spirit that can be broken very easily. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I can't believe she has a medical degree with this kind of personality, no knowledge whatsoever about coping skills and mental health related questions, no knowledge about alopecia (I learned more about it on google than from her!!!) and lack of sympathy. She was instantly liked by both of my kids. Very thorough and forthcoming with information (I didnt have to drag anything out of her). My eldest son is mildly autistic and she had him completely at ease, which is saying something. I highly recommend her, and all of the Doctors at her office for that matter.
