Dr. Uchenna N Dike, MD

I have been seeing the Dr. Sense she opened her pratice on Woodruff Rd. I don't understand why it's been a week and all I need to know can she do a telehealth with me sense I was unable to come to her office at this time for a visit. I'm still waiting for her to are the nurse to call me back andl et me know? It's been a over a week and no response. So I call her office back.And the nurse that answers the phone says that they haven't forgotten about me.They've just been busy.It doesn't take five minutes to find out something.And to turn around and call someone back and let them know.I told them I could get my brother to drive me to the office if I needed to come in for an appointment.I'm still waiting.She knows the condition i'm in scoliosis and osteoarthritis has just about done me in .

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dike. She was attentive..good listener....very encouraging ...and took the necessary actions to monitor my lipomas. I found her refreshing keenly intelligent and had refreshing .

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE doctor. She is rude and unprofessional. She goes out of the room and talks about you to her staff like you are a moron. Very loudly, like she wants you to hear. I have never been to a worse doctor that made me feel so bad about myself. She had me in tears before I left. I wish they would take her license. She is the most miserable person I have ever met and she takes it out on her patients, who only want her help. I hope she reads all these negative reviews about herself and changes. I would give her zero stars if it was an option. She has no business being a doctor.

Dr. Uchenna Dike is very rude and disrespectful to people and to her patience. If you are like me it’s already hard enough to go to the doctor. I have seen Dr. Dike on several appointments thinking she had a bad day the last time I seen. Each visit is always the same, rude and telling me there is nothing wrong with me. On this particular day she comes into the room and she asks me what is going on with me. I tell her that I am having pain in my stomach and I show her where the pain is. She asks me if I have checked my sugar level lately. I said, yes. I gave her the record where I monitored my sugar levels for a couple of weeks since my hospital visit to the ER. Then she said why are you monitoring your sugar levels? I look at her with absent kind of look. I muttered, well you…. She interrupts me, who told you that you were diabetic? I said, no one said I was diabetic. She said that’s what I thought. No one told you that you were diabetic. I felt frustrated as the hospital sent me home… with instructions to check my sugar level. On the hospital discharge papers it said diabetic control by diet, check sugar levels frequently. She said you aren’t a diabetic not even controlled by diet. I answered her by saying I’m not here for my sugar levels. I’m here for chronic pain in my stomach. She wouldn’t listen to me. She stated that there was nothing wrong with me. That I was making up the pain. I told her she wasn’t me and didn’t know what I felt. I proceeded to tell her that I felt it was my gallbladder. She said, she was the doctor, sort like God and knew there wasn't anything wrong with me. She continued speaking telling me I needed help, like psychiatry. My mother stepped in as she didn't like how the doctor was acting. Dr. Dike was very unprofessional. My mother convinced Dr. Dike to let me take the test for the gallbladder so I would have peace of mind. Dr. Dike agreed! Dr. Dike asked my mother some questions. My mother is 70% deaf and my mother didn't hear Dr. Dike so my mother asked her to repeat the question. She was rude by stating you heard me I'm not repeating it. I told Dr. Dike that my mother is over 70% deaf and would need her to face my mother as she reads lips. Then she raised her voice very loud slowly mouthing her words to my mother. My mother said you don't have to yell at me and you can talk normal as you are being unprofessional. She said I'm not going to be unprofessional as I'm done here. When we opened the door to leave everyone was staring at us wondering what all the commotion was about. The nurses even asked Dr. Dike if everything is alright. She proceeded by telling everyone around that I was going to need psychiatry help. My mother rushed me at the door. It was very embarrassing for me! I took the test and it came back that I had a bad gallbladder. She never apologized. She stated that she didn't feel it was that bad to have it removed but she would refer me to a surgeon. I went to the surgeon she referred me to and when I got there. Dr. Dike didn't send him the test results. She only told him over the phone her personal view of the test results. The surgeon took her word as a doctor that my gallbladder was fine. I went to NorthHills Lab and got the test results myself and asked my heart doctor to refer me to a surgeon and he did. I went to the surgeon and he took out my gallbladder. If it wasn't bad he wouldn't have taken it out. It's a shame that when you are sick and need to go to a doctor that you have to experience this humiliating behavior not mention the unnecessary pain that I went through then to have the doctor not listen to you nor believe you are pain. If you aren't sick or in pain why would you spend money to go the doctor if there is nothing wrong with you. I would rather spend my money on a new outfit. Dr. Dike wrote untrue statements in my medical records that can't be removed. Did you know that doctors can destroy your character by the things they write about you in your medical records? Once they write their comments it can't be removed or changed. A lot of comments were uncalled for and wasn't even about the issue at hand. I will never go back to Dr. Dike. However, I don't like the fact that I have to continue my care at NorthHills because they are the only ones to accept Medicaid.

This Dr was very short and rude to me. Terrible bedside manner! I made her aware that I am allergic to penicillin and she prescribed me Amoxicillin! My husband brought me home a drug that would have caused my throat to swell shut had I not read the label before taking it. Very careless and reckless behavior on her part.
