Dr. Uchenna Lizmay Umeh, MD

Arrogant and unprofessional Does not listen to patient and pushes her supposedly professional opinion Would suggest spending an hour at the dmv for better results

We had a virtual visit with Dr. Umeh for my daughter. Dr. Umeh refused to listen to my concerns and repeatedly insisted that my daughter had a cold or allergies. We had already tried all the things she was asking us to try, but she refused to consider that there may be more going on. Her exact words were "17 yr olds do not get ear infections". After our visit with Dr. Umeh on a Friday my daughter's symptoms continued to worsen. She was in severe pain and had various other symptoms. Due to the shelter in place we weren't able to consult with our family doctor until Monday. My 17 year old DID in fact have an ear infection and due to Dr. Umeh's lack of concern her ear drum ruptured. Now we are dealing with possible long term damage to my daughter's hearing. Dr. Umeh was rude, did not listen to our concerns and treated us as if we had no knowledge. She seemed more concerned with what her family was doing in the background that the patient she was supposed to be caring for. We… will have to wait months to follow up with an ENT now. If Dr. Umeh had listened to our concerns and provided proper care all of this could have been avoided.

It's great to have a doctor actually listen to your concerns and address each one. Great visit overall!

Very condescending and rude

Amazing Pediatric Doctor. Takes the time to evaluate patients and get to know them. Highly recommend!
