This was our first time seeing Dr. Cantave. We have been with SouthernMED since before it was ever SouthernMED (about 17 years). She was the best doctor I have ever seen there. She made my children feel comfortable and had amazing bedside manner with my very energetic 5 year old son. She never got impatient with his interruptions and made him laugh several times. We will continue to make the drive from Swansea just to have her as the childrens pediatrician.

She was very knowledgeable, professional, great bedside manner and very polite! This was our first time seeing her and it definitely will not be the last! She’s great! I wish she saw adults!!

She left a good first impression on me based on what I have experienced in the past with other pediatricians. She really interacted with my child and he felt comfortable and so did I. He wasn't treated like just a patient.

Dr. Cantave is very professional, yet easy to relate to. Her bedside manner is the best!! I have 4 children who all are her patients and they all love her. 1 of my children is asthmatic, the thing I love most about Dr. C is her personal knowledge of his condition, and that if I walk in, without even calling, and my son is in distress, she jumps right in and stablize's him. She educates him on the types of medications he takes and why. Dr. C does a thorough examination of your child, and does not just assume she knows what is wrong with them.

We love Dr. Cantave! She is our son's pediatrician and we couldn't be happier. She never rushes us through visits and answers all of our questions no mater how pressed for time. I highly recommend her!
