Made an appointment for my mother who had been a patient of dr. Yilmaz in past two weeks ago. Was not asked at that time what insurance she had and it had been accepted in past. No change to her Medicare insurance. When called to confirm date of appointment was told appointment canceled . I did not cancel it so receptionist looked into it and stated they canceled themselves because of her type of insurance without contacting us. Just plain canceled it. I had taken off work for this and my mom needed this appointment. I guess since they moved locations they are too good for Medicare patients. Receptionist should be better trained when they make appointment for client and let you in on it when they decide they don’t want you and cancel without worrying about letting client in on it. Is this what medical care coming too? The elderly just get tossed aside. Especially since she had seen dr. Yilmaz in past now we have to start over and hopefully they will share her past medical history with… whoever we find. So moral of story let them know what insurance you have before they make appointment . You may not be the kind of patient they want.
