Dr. Ukonu Okoro Ejie, MD

i was told by this doctor through his N.P. i needed to go back to the hospital at the ER (8+ hour wait time at least and getting exposed to Covid after a 19 day stay at Advent Health Daytona Beach) and get admitted and stay another 3 to 4 weeks, and if i did not. i was going to die. yes, that is what i was told by this doctor through his N.P.. i had a fungi mass growing in my lungs. i supplied him with a good sample of mucus for them to grow a culture and 3 weeks later it dictated i needed this antibiotic for 5 days. i was discharged from Advent Health hospital and continued that antibiotic for another 25 days. This doctor was basing his opinion on a culture that was 6 weeks old and no other test. i believe that could be a practice of "Mal Practice" .i would never recommend him for first aid treatment. i am questioning Advent Heath for allowing this person to practice medicine in their Hospital. if you get admitted to Advent Health Hospital Daytona Beach, decline this person as a… doctor for you, beware! i went to another specialist for a second opinion and very glad i did. No, i am not going to die anytime soon. No further test or procedures needed. Doing well.

Dr Ejie is very knowledgeable. He is one of the best Infectious Disease Specialists in the area.

Dr Ejie is an amazing doctor. He knows his specialty. If I have an infection again, he is the Infectious Disease Doctor that I will go to.

Dr Ernie is the best there is. He explains scenarios with writing a diagram to explain to patient in a patients level. He his very thorough, he is able to assess situation and he is always right on the mark. Excellent doctor

My wife's father had the misfortune of getting stuck in the cross hairs of this condescending, cut-rate excuse for a doctor. First, my wife asked him a simple question about the options available to fight her father's infection. God forbid... Instead of having compassion for a concerned daughter, he proceeded to belittle my wife and assert himself as the almighty doctor, and sarcastically asked her permission to treat his own patient. Next, this "infectious disease" doctor proceeded to undress my father-in-law's bandage, and leave it in the bed with the patient after completing his examination. In addition to leaving the bloody bandage in the bed, he failed to redress the open wound. I wouldn't wish this doctor on my worst enemy.
