Dr Starke is the best internal medicine doctor on the Northshore. He is the perfect Doctor for managing your daily needs while serving as your primary care doctor. Highly recommended! He truly cares about his patients and is very attentive to all facets of your total health needs.

I find Dr. Starke a warm, caring, compassionate physician. I feel very good about his care for me.

Horrible office manager. Jim is very rude, condesending, and unprofessional. He did not give my messages to Dr. Starke, overbilled me, and yelled at me in front of others in the office. So many of the office staff have quit because of his attitude. He will never be fired so just be forewarned that you have to go through him to talk to Dr. Starke. Dr. Starke complains when I tell him all of my ailments, says that I have too many for him to treat in one office visit. His office manager, Jim, called in some prescriptions for me and gave the wrong instructions on how to take the medicine which nearly hospitalized me. I have found another doctor in the last year and am very happy but I wanted to warn others of this doctor's practice and unprofessionalism. His nurse Heather is wonderful and I have no idea how she puts up with all of this.

Dr. Starke could use some continuing education as he doesn't seem to be knowledgeable on current procedures. Is rather "old school" and one of those doctors that "knows best". Disregards your opinions and really is not a very good listener. He misdiagnosed this patient which resulted in a very serious illness.
