I’d like to say that after being diagnosed about two years ago with my Lyme disease, I’ve been suffering terribly. Even wheelchair-bound. All because the doctor decided that he didn’t think I was being serious and just wanted pain pills. Don’t go here. There’s a lot better doctors out there. I wasn’t diagnosed on time because the dr denied me more testing and treated me poorly. So now my condition if life long. Thanks a lot Dr Magnano. I appreciate it.

I have been using this doctor and office for years. The experience at first was great. Year after year It has gotten worst, recently no feed back from the doctor. The nurses called me to tell me my blood work was great and to continue with what I was doing, but turns out it wasn’t after comparing it to my yearlys. Then my wife tried to get a simple Streep test to get on antibiotics, they said she would have to wait a week. A week later I have it and they won’t see me for a week. I called when the office opened and can’t get in to see anyone. They said go to the ER, so instead of $20 pay $250. Pass on this office and related doctors their is much better out there.

He takess the time to listen to me as a person rather than just a patient. He discusses options with me. He understands that some of his patients do not have the means to use name brand drugs and looks for alternative meds. And his staff does an outstanding job helping with all your needs.

Dr Magnanao gave me very harsh medication without doing any tests to see what it even is! After a week the condition continued to get worse to the point of barely being able to walk since it hurt so bad. Went to another primary care doctor and he couldn't believe the medication I was on as it was very bad for the liver. My new primary care doctor took 6 vials of blood and ran tons of tests, gave me a much less harsh medication and referred me to a specialist that specializes with this sort of issue. This is what Dr Magnanao should have done in the first place! I am angry that all he did was throw me some very harsh medication. What doctor does that without running any tests??!!!

I chose him as my GP with an HMO and needed referrals to both a dermatologist and endocrinologist. He was very reluctant to give out the referrals and wanted to handle everything himself, even though my issues are outside the realm of a GP. It took me practically begging before he would give the referrals. I changed insurance to go back to a PPO just so I can go to a different doctor!

If you want a doctor for preventative reasons, he's probably pretty good, but don't go to him if you've had diarrhea for over a week and nothing stops it - he just tells you to keep doing what you're doing even though it is obvious that diarrhea for this long is NOT normal! Don't disagree with him either or question him too much - he gets angry.

I find that over time nothing ever gets solved and results of tests are summarized in a sentence or two. I can read the test results myself, but what I need to know is how those results are affecting my body - what are the alternatives and where do we go from here?
