Dr. Umar Rashid Mahmood, DO

Dr. Umar Mahmood is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine. Dr. Mahmood completed medical school at Midwestern University – Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then underwent his residency training at NYU Langone Medical School, ranked as one of the top 10 residency programs in the nation. After completing his residency, he then completed his fellowship training in pain medicine at New England Baptist Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine. Throughout the years of his career, Dr. Mahmood has taken every opportunity to advance the field of interventional pain medicine. He continues to lecture at various national conferences, teach advanced therapies to fellows, as well as serve on the advisory board for several medical device companies. He continues to strive to learn the newest and innovative therapies so that he can provide his patients with the best pain care.
