Dr. Umesh Choudhry, MD

Dr Choudhry had been recommended by several friends and I couldn't see why I kept his name being repeated to me as the GI doctor to go to. I eventually was able to make an appointment which was a little frustrating that I had to wait 3 weeks to get in. Once I had my appointment I do understand why it was worth the wait. He took more time with me that I have had any doctor do so. He talked to me and not around me as other doctors have done. The second time I went to him I have learned that you will have a long time in the waiting room but once you are in the room with him or Angie [his NP] you will be given as much attention and time as you need. Now I know why he gets behind on his time. He does not rush any patient out. That is worth the wait.

Dr. Choudhry cares deeply about his patients. I would refer him to any one of my family members.

I have been a patient of Dr. Choudhry for four years. He is an excellent doctor and is very caring and considerate of his patients. I had extreme difficulty in swallowing and was lucky enough to find Dr. Choudhry. He has performed a Botox endoscopy for me every five months so I am able to swallow and digest food. I would give him an A plus rating.

What is the thing that worries one the most when dealing with medical issues ? . "Do people involved care" ? . Am i going to be taken care of ??. Am I going to keep suffering?. Dr. Umesh Choudhry and Angie Boyle addressed all my concerns. After months, I feel I am going to be alright. !!. Jen and Marlene got me right into the office although the routine visit would have been in two months. A big THANK YOU to all of them !!

Very impressed by my first consultation, procedure and follow up. Some very boisterous and caring staff. They cheer you up instantly. Doctor of course is very busy but everyone walking out tells you he is worth the wait. This really is not a cliche'.in his case. Who calls you at home at night to check on you ??. My family doctor was right in referring me. The nurses at the hospital said he has brought so many innovative procedures and techniques to the hospital. I just wish him well. Hope he takes care of himself. God bless him.

Skills and caring are at the heart of this team. All gel extremely well. I was seen at the hospital and then followed at the office. Caring staff who vouch for the doctor as he is their doctor too (confidentially !!)

I've been seeing Dr. Choudhry since 2012 when I had the good fortune to have met him in the ER at Mease Countryside. He is a wonderfully patient, thorough, and kind doctor. I've never once (in all of my appointments) ever felt rushed. His entire office staff is exceptional! In the case where I may have had to wait a bit in the waiting room - it was worth it because he gives each of his patients his full attention, and makes sure that all of your questions are answered and that you understand everything.

Dr Choundry and his PA are wonderful and very caring. Very knowledgeable. Would recommend this Dr. The reception staff is very rude. When you don't feel good the last thing you want to do is deal with rude staff. Then they say the Pa will call, no this rude person calls back. Not professional.

A caring person as well as an exceptional diagnostician

Dr. Choudhry is the most personable, caring, and highly professional doctor I have ever met. He listens carefully to your concerns makes you feel comfortable and answers every question with patience. He exemplifies compassion, knowledge and understanding which makes him an outstanding doctor. Dr Choudhry takes his time with a patient and never makes you feel rushed. Today, this is something you rarely find in a physician. Dr. Choundhry did an excellent job with my endoscopy. After my procedure was done, he came into the room and explained the results he found and provided me with the needed information. More results would be provided on my follow up with him. On my appointment for my follow up visit for the endoscopy/biopsy results, Dr. Choundhry was going to be out of town. I was asked if I would be comfortable with seeing his Physician Assistant, Angie. I did not have a problem with that as she assisted Dr. Choundhry on my initial visit. I had biopsies done with the… endoscopy procedure, and wished to have the results as soon as possible, and did not want to wait for Dr. Choudhryâ??s return. Angie is very professional, personable, knowledgeable and is very capable to give me the details required. She went over the Endoscopy results, the findings of the biopsies explained things clearly, and gave me suggestions to help me. She listened to my questions and gave me answers in length. In Dr. Choudhryâ??s place, she did an excellent job. Dr. Choundhry and his staff are all very professional and helpful. I would like to highly recommend Dr. Umesh Choudhry to anyone. He is one of a kind, and those of us who have had the pleasure of being his patient are truly fortunate. He is unique.
