Umut Selamet, MD, MSC

Dr. Umut Selamet is a board-certified oncologist who specializes in cancer care with a unique focus on onco-nephrology. She earned her medical degree from Istanbul University and completed her residency at Saint Vincent's Medical Center in 2010. Dr. Selamet pursued advanced fellowship training in nephrology at the University of California San Diego in 2016, followed by specialized onco-nephrology fellowship training at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2017. With 26 years of experience in medicine, she holds certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is fluent in both English and Turkish.

Dr. Selamet practices at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. Her clinical expertise encompasses treating various forms of cancer, including melanoma and both general and non-small cell lung cancer.
