Dr. Unchu Ko, MD

I feel that I can trust this doctor's knowledge base as she always seems to have an answer. However, she always seems to spend the minimum time with me and is typing into her ipad and not looking at me as we speak. I would probably switch to a different provider if I found one with her capabilities who be willing to spend time with their patients.

Tired of being talked to like I don't know anything. She might be knowledgeable but no matter what you tell her, she always comes back with a snide answer. Very condescending. You're Not the only one in the world with a college degree so have more respect and listen to what your patients have to say. Instead of letting the automatic shoot down take over

I recently began seeing Dr. Ko. During the 1st visit she went over all of my records with me to ensure that everything was accurate. She was thorough, took her time with me and had taken the time to go over my records before the appointment. I appreciated the fact that Dr. Ko didn't immediately prescribe medication. I realize this is a team effort and there are things I have to amend or change in addition to being prescribed medication. She was professional and caring.

Very insensitive, no test or exam was performed for the many symptoms I complained about. This was my first visit, and would not recommend this physician to anyone.

Dr. Ko sometimes seems rushed. I have learned that if you have the foresight to schedule a longer appointment block with her, you will have the experience of having all your concerns listened to. Dr. Ko is also not too quick to prescribe Rx solutions and will remind you that a change in diet/ lifestyle / supplements can usually help your situation. Dr. Ko has been very attentive when I bring up my concerns, but remember your Dr. can not read your mind - you must be sure to bring questions and concerns to their attention.
