Dr. Usha Krishna Nandigam, MD

Sweet lady, Dr. Usha, but her LPN/receptionist is nasty! Dr. Usha is very knowledgeable, but does give out pills instead of figuring out what the underlying issue is. The office needs to be updated with a computer portal system and another doctor is needed to takeover if Dr. Nandigan is out of the country or not available!! LPN/receptionist is not dedicated to their patients. She hung up on me! I used to take my own blood pressure and weight myself, so she never had to do anything!! Won't stay a second over her hourly pay and constantly told me she has too many patients to handle! Not good.

This Dr. does not particularly care about patients. Does not spend quality time only likes to spend minimum time in and out to make that quick dollar. She actually complained about having to do paperwork that was highly recommended from other doctors to receive a needed scooter. We actually had to beg for her to do paperwork which is part of her job anyways, after several attempts and several other dr requests she claims she will do it, we will see. She is also known to forget about her patients medical needs when she leaves to go on her vacation. My mother in law had to leave several attempts to a calling agency at her office while she was gone to try and get her needed medication which was supposed to be refilled prior her leave as it wasn't she left town to her country forgetting to refill scripts and had to do without until she returned. Not exactly a caring doctor. Visit at your own risk and expence.

I think over all Dr Usha is a great caring DR. Dr Usha generally knows quickly what is wrong and when she is not sure she checks and check. I myself have had over 15 years of care with her and have recently moved and now drive 25 miles or 35 miles if in Port Charlotte and will not be leaving her!!!
