Dr. Zahir has been such a big help with my back. I love his honesty and understanding. Very professional and talks to you like a person rather than a number and in a way you will understand.

I had a cyst in my back (L4 L5) that was putting pressure on my spinal cord causing stabbing pain, tingling and numbness from the hips down to my feet. Dr. Zahir gave me three options and I chose the one with the least amount of recovery time needed to get me back to working full time. Recovery time took about a month. The relief from the discomfort was immediate. His explanation of the three options was very thorough and made it easy to decide given my situation. I also need to express my gratitude to his support staff. They were also very knowledgeable and friendly and were quick with an answer whenever I posted a question about my treatment on the OSS patient portal. If this experience is any indication of the treatment to be expected in other areas of OSS, I'm looking forward to having my knees looked at in the future.

I have been suffering with back pain since 1986, summer of 2025 I experienced intense pain down my leg from a bulged disc. After being referred to Dr Azhir in December, his sensitivity to my pain led to my surgery December 23. Dr Zahir was very clear about my surgery and after care. Dr . Zahir is an excellent doctor. He takes the time to listen to you. He explains the treatment options you have and lets you decide. We tried the PT, shots, and finally settled on a non-invasive surgery. I have no doubt that when the pain goes away, I will feel better than I have in years.

Dr. Zahir explained exactly what was going on with my spine and what he suggested to do made perfect sense to me even without a medical background. I won't lie that the surgery wasn't difficult, but I am fairly certain that it is going to relieve the pain that I have had for nearly a year now.
