Dr. Uzodinma Raphael Dim, MD

Very long wait times, 2-5 hours are typical. High turnover in office makes working with Dr Dim difficult and begs the question why? 7 weeks have passed since i completed my medical release forms to provide my records to surgeon for PFA procedure and medical records still not sent to surgeon even after i have called over 10 times to follow up and move this activity forward with no progress or confirmation to date that my records have been provided to Surgem as i requested on medical release forms. appears to have incompetent staff or over burdened to detriment of service to clients.

Dr Dim is a good doctor, however, his skill in organizing his office appointments are terrible! I arrived promptly at 3:00 p.m . for my appointment. I waited for 5 1/2 hours in his office, shockingly, nobody came to my rescue or gave me any consideration (the whole time I could hear his staff giggling in their break room) I am 75 years old and felt helpless, totally frustrated and disrespected. Dr Dim skills are superb, but I have to make a decision. Long story, short I finally walked out and never did get to see Dr Dim, it was almost 9:00 p.m. I was more than enough patient. This was my SECOND similar experience. Feeling unhappy and confused.

Ridiculous. He did not answer our questions or examined the patient. He was only trying to sell his rehab therapy. 4 hour wait. Horrible experience. He will be reported. Worst experience ever.

While Dr Dim is a great doctor and wonderful his staff really lets him down. I have had nothing but problems and run arounds from them. Now thanks to them not listening to me I have my ADA qualification on hold. Arrogance and lack of listening skills run rampant. I unfortunately will be looking for another Cardiologist. If he sees you in the hospital you are in good hands but can NOT recommend his office nor staff for followups. Also spent 3.5 hours on my last follow up visit

Dr Dim is an amazing Dr with a great, big heart that cares about his patients. I once thanked him for helping me & he in turn said to me “Thank You for allowing me to help you Never in my life has a Dr thanked me as a patient. My brother was the first one in my family to see him. He had been in & out of De Sol Hospital & was released without the proper diagnosis & when he went to Dr Dim for the 1st time, I can truly tell you & my brother can tell you he saved my brother from losing his leg due to circulation. The wait at his office at times is long but once you are inside his consult room with him you understand why because he cares about you and takes his time to hear & understand your concerns. My last visit I was there late and I mentioned to him Dr when do you rest & his comment to me was when everyone is well. When everyone is well stayed in my mind as I drove home where I told my brother, my mom, my sister-in-law who are all patients of Dr Dim & they all had good comments to say.

Dr. Dim became my husband's Cardiovascular doctor by default. We live 21/2 hours away and we drove for his appointment. We waited 3 hours to see this doctor. The waiting room was full of waiting patients. His staff made no attempt to announce why he was running so behind. In my view this was incredibly inconsiderate to my husband and his other waiting patients. I found out later that for this doctor, this is business as usual and that he overbooks his patients routinely. This is pure greed and something needs to be done about it. Doctors are not gods and they don't make their poor patients wait 3 to 4 hours a visit.

Be prepare ro wait for up to 4 hrs each time you visit him. This is not just onece bit I have. Isoted him 4 times this year and my best wait time was 3 hrs and the last time it was 4 hrs Lorena

Courteous, compassionate and dedicated doctor. He is one in a million!
