Ivf first try and preggers!

I called Dr. Karnitis' clinic to ask the nurse about using his services after cancelled IVFs. Dr. Karnitis called me back after hours and thoroughly gave me an explanation of why this was happening, what to expect, and how to best advocate for myself. His attention to detail and warm regard was sincerely appreciated during this vulnerable time.

I urge anyone who has seen this doctor for an extended amout of time to LEAVE HIS PRACTICE. I saw this doctor for 5 plus years and spent thousands of dollars. I finally went to another dr in dertoit and was pregnant in 3 months. I learned it was a simple medication error on his behalf. I am now in my third trimester. Dont waste your time and money

Patient, kind, thoughtful diagnoses, caring, informative, and careful, conservative treatment. Best. Doctor. Ever. Period. And I have a beautiful son to prove it.

I would highly recommend Dr. Karnitis to anyone, I often do. I have never come across a doctor who knows his job, cares about the patient like he does, and has great bedside manners. He's fantastic! Good looking too, so that helps, lol.Really, he goes above and beyond for his patients!

Great doctor and although I wanted him to be more aggressive I was glad he wasn't. It took longer but I ended up with a set of twins that have been wonderful. Had he gone full force right away I'm afraid I may have had more and he stresses trying for a single pregnancy which I felt very comortable with. He even told me where to get treatments that was cheaper since insurance didn't cover anything. Wonderful experience during a difficult process! There was one nurse that did not have good bedside manner, I think she'd been there too long and forgot this is a painful and emotionally hard process but the rest were wonderful.

I have seen this DR for total of 5 and half years. I was blessed with one child, although it took many fertility treatments to conceive. I am under 35 with no known fertility problems. I have been trying for a second child for about three years, during which I have had 4 consecutive miscarriages. What astounded me about this physician is no matter how many miscarriages I had, he refused to do any testing until the third one, for which he did very little. After the fourth miscarriage he misdiagnosed me with an ectopic, which I did not have. BUT I did have a very long and painful miscarriage that lasted almost two months. Even after I told the office that it was a miscarriage and requested an ultrasound they basically ignored me. Like I havent been through a miscarriage before??? So I had to suffer. I would much rather have taken care of it in a different, quicker, and les painful manner, instead of such a long one. I have spent roughly close to 60,000 and have no baby to show… for it. Although DR Karnitis has a good bedside manner, I really dont feel that he listens. I put out many ideas to help and each time he wouldnt even consider them. Obviously, what he was doing wasnt working. Time to move on.

I recently left the practice after 12+ cycles of treatment, due solely to the rudeness, sloppiness, and negativity of the staff. One nurse in particular, actually. I'll call her Nurse M. Dr. Karnitis has always treated my husband and me with kindness and respect, but Nurse M was an absolute nightmare to deal with. We actually spoke to Dr. K about different problems we had with Nurse M, more than once, and were told, more or less, that there is no way around her. I pray that she leaves this practice and goes somewhere she won't have contact with patients. I would like to mention that Dr. Karnitis is a good doctor with wonderful bedside manner. He is intelligent, soft-spoken, and kind. I so wish I could've stayed in treatment with him, but I could not take his staff any longer.
