Vaidehi Sasidhar, MD

I moved and needed a new Dr. As you can see Dr. Sasidhar has amazing reviews. She is female, which I liked and close to home. My first meeting with her she was incredibly accommodating to give me ANY referral I needed. BUT... and this is a huge BUT... I mentioned symptoms and she said, just keep taking (my meds) not offering a different approach. We breeched subjects on a few disorders at which she said," okay and... If you have those there's nothing to do anyway right?" Which is absurd, you can always "manage" symptoms but here's my real issue. I am a woman with weight on her. I asked for a referral to a nutritionist for me being overweight at which point she turns and says, and I quote, " actually you are obese, how serious are you about your weight loss, would you consider surgery?" First meeting ever with her and she didn't even try to make a plan with me it was here are your referrals, stay on your meds, nothing we can do, go get some surgery. I admit my weight gain and by a BMI… chart standards I fall into obese. I acknowledge that but I'm not surgery material. I left. Felt defeated and cried. She was by no means gentle, kind, or a friend, she was barely a good dr.

I love Dr Sasidhar. She is professional,caring and has always been willing to sit and listen. I never feel rushed. Great doc

Rude and unprofessional. She had the nerve to say I was too old to know about my daughter's medical issues after a recent hospitalization. I'll be seeking a different doctor.

I hate that doctors will not give 3x 3x long term scripts, lovely Dr. Sasidar included. I am a single mother that postpones doctor visits just as absolutely long as I can. Reason? Sparing the $25 copay takes food or gas from my family.
