Recently my mother was admitted to the Greensburg RNC/Rehab after having congestive heart failure and trouble breathing. After 2 weeks in the rehab, my mother complained of weakness, chest pains, difficulty breathing, and exercise intolerance. The Dr saw her once a week, the last time was yesterday (Saturday...we are told he comes in on weekends to get a higher pay rate for off hours work!). After seeing my mother at noon, he told her she was fine and would feel better soon. 5 hours later she was rushed to Westmoreland Hospital and admitted to the ICU with renal failure, high potassium levels, a heart rate of 32 BPM, yet she was told she was "fine". This type of issue doesn't develop in 5 minutes. He dismissed my mother's complaints, never did any testing for heart attacks despite numerous symptoms that shouldn't be ignored, and made excuses why he couldn't do any testing. My mother is clinging to life as I write this, so YES, I AM UPSET! Worry about your fancy car, not the patients… that rely on you for compassionate healthcare. Sorry Doc, I don't approve of your particular brand of bedside manner.

Have been with him for over 15 years. He seems to care and orders tests as needed. I recommend him as does my RN wife and the rest of the nurses at the hospital.

There is nothing to comment as he is A one doctor and his experience and maturity is great and he remains a role model to many more doctors in life. I like him personally and know him from my child hood, he is simply excellent and a great doctor

If you are going to bill a person for hospital services, the services need to be justified. If a person comes in with a broken foot, they might need an x-ray. If a person comes in with a broken arm, they might need an x-ray. If a person comes in after a seizure, they NEED to have an EEG performed. The EEG may or may not show anything. However, it is a procedure that most doctors follow. For some reason, I spent three days in the hospital and completed about two hours worth of tests. I also had a seizure after this in Maryland. While I was in Maryland, I spent one day in the hospital. During that day, the DOCTOR ordered a variety of tests. These tests included an EEG and an EKG. How is this possible? One day for a complete and thorough examination compared to THREE days for a partial examination. I dont understand how this could happen.
