I was very nervous going into see Dr Atanassov knowing I would need surgery. Once I met Dr Val and his team, he calmed my nerves right away. He is very cool and confident. His entire team is very nice and caring. I am now a week post op, had my post op visit and just feel so glad that he was my surgeon. I cannot recommend him enough!

Awesome bedside manner ! A great surgeon who cares about his patients

Had my surgery on 12/23. Being in the healthcare field, I was a little concerned about some swelling. Dr. Val had me come to his office on Christmas Day because he knew I was worried and he was worried for me. Christmas Day! Who does that! I've known a lot of doctors and he is without a doubt the most compassionate, caring, and kind doctor I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. If I should ever need more surgery, Dr Val will be my first choice.

I just want to say that Dr. Valentin Atanassov is one of the best surgeons that the Brockton Hospital has on staff. His skill and professionalism is outstanding. He treated me with care and understanding answered all my questions and concerns. He cares for his patients like they were his own family.

Dr. Val (as he will tell you call him), is the epitome of what an EXCELLENT surgeon should be! Superb bedside manner and truly cares about his patients and their families. Comes right out after surgery and speaks with the family and waits until you are awake before he tells you anything about how your procedure went. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Val. He is just a class act surgeon and human being.
