Valerie Battisti is a certified physician assistant on the Hamdard team whose specialties include family medicine and pediatrics. Valerie is a kind and compassionate provider who hopes to fill the gaps in healthcare coverage that are prominent in underserved communities. With over 8 years of experience in the field, Valerie has a passion for helping families by promoting their physical, emotional and mental well-being. She is dedicated to providing quality care and personalized treatment plans for her patients.

Valerie decided to become a physician assistant after going on a mission trip to Honduras, where she saw the great need for healthcare in the developing world. Her love for learning about the human body along with her passion to serve others also contributed to Valerie’s motivation to become a PA. Valerie is now accepting new patients in person at Hamdard’s Addison clinic as well as telehealth appointments.
