I felt very uncomfortable seeing a confused woman want to be a man, she was the first thing I saw before seeing dr. She took vitals & medical history. I couldn't even look at such an evil thing. I like Dr. Espinosa. She always makes me feel at ease.

Valerie Espinosa is an amazing physician. She is highly intelligent, caring and kind. I continue to have a great experience with Dr. Espinosa. The office is very busy but I get my appointments scheduled in advance every year and I also see her directly. The one time I needed to reschedule at the last minute I did see her PA who was attentive and through. I take time out of my work day to go to the appointments and she is always through and attentive but works quick which I appreciate. She diagnosed me early when a few other doctors said I was too young to have thyroid issues so I will always remember that. She is not the coddling sensitive type of doctor but that does not bother me at all.

Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, to the point.

This is the worst doctor my husband saw in twenty years of having a benign brain tumor. Sadly, he died after seeing her and I don't know if it was partly due to her negligence or not. However, the service was horrible and she showed very little interest in helping him.

I fired her I never saw her. She was paid for not seeing me. Her PA would see me, which was fine but I never met or saw my doctor. Valerie Espinosa. Then I felt like it was a cattle call. I was so unhappy so I am going to another doctor who has time to see me.

I have given them 2 years of my life to get my treatment and meds right and am still suffering symptoms which seem to be getting worse. I have blood work every 6 weeks with subsequent changes in meds. The last blood work they called and told me to schedule an appointment. When I tried to do so I was told there were no appointments available with the doctor. For what? eternity? I was told I could schedule with the PA. That is useless as the PA just reads the lab report and sends you off with a prescription change. "you are not there yet" is what the lab work indicates. Often you are told, "that is outside my area of expertise" when you have a symptom that doesn't fall within the window of your diagnoses when in fact perhaps that symptom would explain why the treatment and meds they gave you aren't working. I am looking for another doctor that is more available with a broader scope of knowledge. When you feel terrible and are unable to enjoy life due to illness you eventually become… depressed with your decreased quality of life that no one at the doctor office seems to understand.

Nearly all of the previous reviews bear absolutely no relation to my experience with Dr. Espinosa or her office. I thought my initial appointment was prompt, I have never been seen by anyone other than Dr. Espinosa (except to have my blood pressure etc taken); all the staff are always polite & courteous (including Dr. Espinosa); & I was 100% happy & confident in her diagnoses (my mother is an MD & wanted to know everything I was told/ all my test results). The only little details that I would mention are that parking is a premium & an appointment a little later in the morning usually means that it isn't such a problem as an early morning appointment. Also I would prefer not to have the reception desk in the waiting area as they do ask personal questions in order to ensure you're billed correctly/ given the correct information on departure.

Told me my thyroid was fine despite insisting I thought something was wrong and said she couldn't help me. A MRI later showed a large thyroid lesion, which was confirmed by another endo using an ultrasound test.

I've been a patient for over a year, during which a goiter and thyroid nodules have manifested and gotten worse. After more than a year, I only JUST saw Dr. Espinosa for the first time. I've had at least 8 appointments, all with her P.A., who seems more qualified than this doctor.Don't mistake of equating the difficulty of getting an appointment with Dr. Espinosa with quality of care - she offers none. Although she was recommended, based on my experience I can't understand why. She's wasted a year of my time and my good medical insurance. Upon finally seeing me, she did not physically examine me and ignored the data from the tests that her office performed. She offered no answers, no theories and no help at all. How is that science or medicine?I've gotten a second opinion from another doctor who has already proved far more useful from a single visit. I wish I had known how useless Dr. Espinosa was, if I did I could have saved myself a year of frustration and hundreds of dollars… in co-payments.
