Dr. Valerie Kathleen Hudson, MD

Please don't you or your loved one's time . My first visit, and I didn't get a chance to see her, yet I waited three and a half hours in her waiting room! I finally poked my head out of the inner waiting room and everyone was nowhere to be seen! The lady waiting for help at the desk told me its a four hour wait every time you visit her office. THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE ANYONE ELSE'S TIME!!!! I left. Thank goodness I didn't fall into that trap hole.

The Staff is mean, rude, cantankerous, very un-friendly, they know the Patients but it doesn't matter, the contact is still just plain NASTY!!!!. This behavior from the juvenile staff makes Dr. Hudson look real bad. She is the best, she is concerned, and she cares, she lost Bernadette the best PA she's had, but, the rest of her office Staff (the ones who has been there a while), they Suck!!! I've been thinking about finding me a new Doctor. Hudson is a Great Dr. But, the aggravation from the long wait, long time before an appointment 1-2 months away,(may as well go through Urgent Care, or, the ER,) treated as though people have nowhere else to be, except sit in the office of unfriendly people all day, I say NO!!!, its my funds from my Insurance that keeps you with a job. Revamp some things soon, or, in Oct.-Nov. I'm gone!!! Sorry Dr. Hudson. To find doctor's who still really care for people is hard to find, who follow up like Bernadette use to do, is hard to find, but the long wait in… the waiting room, the patient room, or, just to get a darn appointment, is Ludacris, go back to what you use to do, before the move from down the street, all changes are not good ones, go back to visiting your patients when they are admitted to hospitals as though you care, your Patients want to see your face, it shows you still care for them.

I have been a long-term patient -- my entire family has Dr.Hudson as the general practitioner. I will be changing doctors. My husband had been hospitalized and upon his follow up appointment, we were told he would have to pay for an office visiit. Per my insurance company; most doctors waive this fee for the initial follow up. I have had it and will be changing doctors as soon as possible.

she is always in and out of room on phone or tablet, staff is rude, and doctor is always late to office. i waited over 3 1/2 hours the last two visits and walked out. the office even had the nerve to charge my insurance when i had never seen the doctor and refused to refund my co-pay. its like your at a free clinic. i pay money for health insurance and want to be treated as such. It takes 2 or more months to get an appointment. if you need a "emergency visit" its like playing the lotto. you have to call on cerrtain days of the week between certain times and if you can get thru on the phone due to it being busy all morning, you have to hope and pray that the list for emergency visits hasn't been filled. I've seen this doctor 4 -5 times, i even tried early am appointments, being the first to be seen thinking that wait time would be better without success. in process of finding another doctor ASAP

Dr. Hudson is a great doctor the only problem I have with her is the amount of time it takes to actually get an appointment and to be seen but other than that she really does care for her patients.

Dr. Valerie Hudson has not given my TEST RESULTS for several tests I took there for what is going on a 1 year now!!! Although charging my health insurance for all of them. Had tried to get results from them for months and it I truly believe have been purposely given the run around. Would never

Love Love Love Dr. Hudson and I hate to have to leave. I have been with her since she was an intern/resident. She was my doc when I had my 3 Children. She then became their doc. She is very intelligent, personable, warm, helpful & attentive. However, punctuality & promptness is not of any importance unless it is you that is late or a no show. I cannot remember the last time that I was in Dr. Hudson's office for less than 2 hours. The most recent stint took 4 hours. Needless to say I had to leave in order to make my next appt. Never even saw Dr. Hudson or any other Dr. That was the last straw for me. I'm tired of having to wait 3-4 hours to see her. I can't continue to make an appt. and not do anything else that day cause of the waiting game. I've been without my medication for almost 2 weeks now. No call, no apology, no nothing. I am looking for another doctor as I write.

Very nice Doctor. But, the staff is lazy and rude. They never do anything right. Always mis placing paperwork, charts etc..... Can't get your meds on time even if you have an appointment. The only problem I have with DR. Hudson is she let the staff slide with too many mistakes putting them before her patients. Have too many patients and is not open or may I say isn't there enough hours to carter to everybody. She looks exhausted but she try and give you as much time as she can. She is on of a kind....I just wish she would hire staff that is equal to her dedication.

Dr. Hudson is a good person, but it seems she has a lot going on in her own life that limits her to fully dedicating herself to her practice. She is NEVER in the office on time therefore her whole day is thrown office schedule. I have been her first appointment and she arrives at least 1 hour late. I had a 12:00 appointment and did not leave the office till 3:00. Her nurse needs an attitude adjustment. She thinks what she says should go and no one should question her. Her office staff is very unorganized! They are not capable of doing anything. I was hospitalized once and she makes rounds very late, midnight. If I am ever in the hospital again I will request that she does not come and see me. Recently, she has reduced her office hours. Her staff comes in at 10:00 am but she does not arrive till the afternoon and her last appointment in 4:00 pm. She does not have any office hours on Wednesday. Do not even try to call her for test results, refills or questions you will only hear back… days later at 9:00 pm or never hear anything. Like I said I believe she is a good person and could be a great doctor but she needs to get her life and her office together.

Will listen. Just wont treat you just like a other person waiting in line.
