Summary
Dr. Valerie Tonnu Jenkins earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1993 from Harvard University. She went on to complete a general practice residency and a surgical research fellowship at Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals. After obtaining her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at New York University, she began her orthodontic career in New York City and New Jersey. Since returning to Southern California in 1999, she has been practicing in the Inland Empire and is an active member of the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Jenkins is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor awarded to only a small percentage of orthodontists. She is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Tri-County Dental Society and Mt. Baldy Study Club.
When she is not busy creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Jenkins enjoys music, outdoor activities with …her husband and two children, and giving back to the community through supporting local schools and community events.
