Dr. Valerie Anne Johnson, MD

I spent some time doing research to find a doctor that was A) reviewed well, B) in my area, and C) was available at times when I was available due to my busy schedule. I made an appointment, but as the day of the appointment grew closer, I discovered that I needed to reschedule it and did so through the ZocDoc website. I received my confirmation that the appointment had been canceled and rescheduled, but a few days later I received a call from the doctors office telling me that I was a no-show and they were not going to take me on as a new patient. I asked them why, and they said that there was apparently a glitch with the scheduling website and I was listed as a no-show. instead of working with me, because the glitch causing me to be a no-show was not my fault, they told me that there was no way they could take me on as a new patient. Apparently losing 1/2 hour of money is more important than providing a service for someone that did their due diligence to seek an appointment. Dr.… Johnson's skills and manner may be wonderful, but I will never know because they decided to put a terrible office policy over my health.

Dr. Johnson is thorough and responds to all concerns/questions. I have a high degree of confidence in her clinical expertise. Both Dr. Johnson and her staff run a professional, friendly and courteous office.

Dr. Johnson genuinely cares about her patients. She tries to find the ''root'" of the problem. She is knowledgeable in her field but also will take the time to listen to you!
