I met Dr Kwa-Ben when I was diagnosed with requiring a quadruple bypass. She seemed to ask important questons and was always to the point . I am under her care still and she taught me what a low sodium diet means and how much it can affect my health. I had edema of my left leg for 10 years and for several years different Drs looked at it and gave me various suggestions. Dr Watson recognized it immediaely as a side effect of a heart drug infrequently used and illegal I understand in some countries although I understand vey few people have the adverese reaction I had. Dr Kwa-Ben immediately challlenge my diet and thought if I cojold keep sodium down to 1500 mg/day and take my Lasix I should see the leg go down. She was right, I spent a lot of time learning how difficult it is to manage this diet, but it is very effective. She is very thoughtful and responsive although I have not been able to master the newest KP messaging system.

Dr Kwai Ben treated my father who had a heart attack while visiting me in San Jose. The treatment was very successful and her dedication and attention to my father needs were out of this world. She is very knowledgeable and humble. She makes sure the patient understands what, why, and when things are done. I strongly recommend her.
