When your disabled husband leaves in tears, with the wrong referral, it does not bode well.

I scheduled a zoom appointment & was told that I would be emailed instructions on how to join. Never received the instructions, so I called the morning of my appointment, & was told they would call me 15 minutes prior to my appointment, to give me instructions. I answered the phone & when they called & it was ringing on their end. Someone answered, as if I called them. I explained that I had just had a call come through & answered, but it sent me to her. She said she was with the call center & that had been happening. I told her that my zoom appointment was coming up & she gave me the number to join the session. I am very familiar with zoom, b/c I use it all the time. I put in the number to join & it said “waiting for the host to join” I waited for 15 minutes & called the office back, to make sure they new I was on. The lady told me I was in the right place & she even told Dr. Millin’s staff that I was on, & they said for me to hang tight & they would be there shortly. I ended up… waiting for over an hour & he never joined. I called the office back & was told he was at lunch. The staff called me back after lunch & said that I can’t be seen today. I will NEVER use this doctor or facility again. I was treated as if I don’t matter & like my time isn’t valuable. I will never recommend this doctor or facility to anyone!

I absolutely loved this Dr. He was caring he was a wonderful Dr..and it was one stop shop no sending you to others.Where did he go???

I just started going to Dr Van Millan about four months ago and now i was just informed he sold out the practice to Atlanticare. I was very disappointed, he was the only Dr. that never double booked patients, I never waited more than 5 minutes to see him and the office would only have one coming in as i was coming out. In my opinion every office should practice this method. He also didnt judge or make me feel like a hypocondriact when other doctors in the past had. I guess they dont realize when you first come back from having no insurance for a year you may have a list of compliants. He will be missed, wish i could find out if he will be opening a new practice.

Dr. Millin has appropriate tests performed, and treats the CAUSES of symptoms, rather than just alleviating and, thus, hiding the symptoms. He really is an advocate for helping you improve your health rather than helping himself to your wallet. I'm only sorry I didn't find a doctor with his philosophy and ethic sooner. At 50, with a history of coronary artery disease, depression, and obesity, Dr. Millin has helped me quit smoking, lose weight, and has put me on the road to looking and feeling better than I did 20 years ago.
